Mel Gibson revealed some interesting details of his belief during an interview with Dianne Sawyer, ABC News, on Monday, February 18, 2004.

When we heard that Mel Gibson was going to be interviewed on ABC News Primetime about "The Passion" movie, we listened with interest, because we hoped he would shed some additional light on this most important movie. We were not disappointed. Catholics and Evangelical churches are promoting this movie very heavily, with many churches touting the movie as an important new witnessing tool. Gibson revealed some very important information that all potential Christian viewers should consider when they are deciding whether to attend. Remember, Gibson's religious views and associations are likely to impact this movie, so they are very important to know.

1. Gibson believes all people will eventually go to heaven!

DIANE SAWYER (ABC NEWS) -- "... when we talked with Gibson and his actors, we wondered, does his traditionalist view bar the door to Heaven for Jews, Protestants, Muslims?

MEL GIBSON (ACTOR/DIRECTOR) -- "That's not the case at all. Absolutely not. It is possible for people who are not even Christian to get into the Kingdom of Heaven. It's just easier for -and I have to say that because that's what I believe."

DIANE SAWYER -- "You have the nonstop ticket?"

MEL GIBSON -- "Well, yeah, I'm saying it's an easier ride where I am because it's like -I have to believe that."
